One Kit. Endless Possibilities
June 2026 Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project | Bikes & Blooms

Welcome to our unofficial Stampin’ Up!® Artisan Design Team Paper Pumpkin InstaHop! Each month, participating Artisan Design Team members share alternate projects created with the featured Paper Pumpkin kit, proving that one kit can inspire so much more than the projects inside the box.
This month we’re featuring the June 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Bikes & Blooms, and I decided to take my project in a completely different direction by creating a peaceful coastal sunset scene.

If you’re hopping along from another Artisan’s blog or Instagram, welcome! Be sure to visit each participant for even more creative inspiration and alternate project ideas using this month’s kit.
A Coastal Twist

Instead of creating a garden-inspired scene, I imagined this bicycle parked along the beach at sunset after an evening ride along the coast.
To create the background, I paired the kit with Scenic Coast 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper, allowing the colorful sky to become the focal point of the card. I added a torn shoreline using Pecan Pie Two-Tone 12” x 12” Cardstock, then finished the scene with starfish and birds cut using the Sunset Coast Dies.
Finishing Touches

The bicycle from the Paper Pumpkin kit becomes the perfect silhouette against the sunset. I stamped the sentiment with the Basic Black Hybrid Stampin’ Pad and added a few Sunset Sparkle Sequins for a subtle shimmer across the sky.
