A Little About Me
I’m Pamela Blackwell — a Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrator, 2025–2026 Artisan Design Team Member, and the heart behind Passionate About Scrapbooking. I live in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with my husband Jeff, and in this season of life as an empty nester, creativity has become so much more than a hobby. It has become a source of healing, joy, and renewed purpose.
I have loved paper crafting for over 28 years — scrapbooking, stamping, card making, and everything in between. What started as a fun creative outlet has grown into something I cannot imagine living without. Paper crafting has carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life, and it has celebrated the most joyful ones too.
My Story
Life has not always gone according to plan — and honestly, I think that is where the most beautiful stories begin. I navigated a painful divorce, the beautiful chaos of blending a family, the grief of losing people I loved, and eventually the quiet that comes when the kids grow up and leave the nest. Each season brought its own kind of hard.
But through every single one of those seasons, I had paper, stamps, and a craft table. And I had Jesus. Those two things together have been my anchor more times than I can count.
Creativity has a way of doing that — of meeting you right where you are and reminding you that even broken pieces can become something beautiful.
Why I Do This
My mission is simple: restoring joy through creativity in Jesus.
I especially love helping women who are in seasons of transition — empty nesters, women rediscovering themselves, women who used to create and somehow stopped — find their way back to the craft table. Because I know what it feels like to need that creative outlet and not know where to start.
Here on the blog, I share story-driven scrapbook layouts, fun fold cards, simple paper crafting techniques, and faith-based encouragement. My goal is always to inspire you, not overwhelm you. You do not need to be an expert. You just need to show up.
