Hello sweet friends! I am so delighted you are joining me today for a special edition of our May Mail It Monday InstaHop. There is something truly restorative about the act of creating and sending a handmade card. In a world that often feels rushed and filled with digital noise, a beautiful piece of happy mail in a physical mailbox serves as a gentle beacon of joy and a reminder that someone is thinking of you.

This week holds a special place in my heart as I am hopping alongside the incredibly talented Stampin’ Up!® 2025 Artisan Design Team Alumni. These women are not just gifted artists but also dear friends who inspire me daily with their creativity and faith. Our collective mission for this hop is simple yet profound: to encourage you to restore joy through creativity and to share that joy by mailing a handmade card to someone who might need a little sunshine.

Shining a Spotlight on the Bloom Boutique Suite
For my featured project, I chose to work with the breathtaking Bloom Boutique Suite Collection found in the brand-new May–August 2026 Catalog. This suite is an absolute dream for anyone who loves delicate florals and elegant designs. I decided to pair these beautiful images with one of our stunning new 2026–2028 In Colors, Golden Glow. This warm, radiant yellow is the perfect choice for a “Mail It Monday” card because it truly feels like sending a bit of bottled sunshine through the mail.

The creation of this card involved layering several of my favorite techniques to build a rich, tactile experience for the recipient. I began by adding scored details to the Golden Glow card base, which provides a sophisticated texture without being overwhelming. To enhance the “glow” of the card, I incorporated elegant touches of Gold Foil and used gold heat embossing for the sentiment, giving it a luxurious, raised finish.
| Creative Detail | Technique & Product Used |
| Texture | Scored lines on the Golden Glow card base |
| Elegance | Accents of Gold Foil for the delicate leaves and petals of the focal flower |
| Dimension | Gold heat embossing on the sentiment for that rich, shiny finish |
| Sparkle | Golden Glow Shimmer Brush to highlight the petals of the focal flower |
| Clarity | White Gel Pen in the center of the focal flower |
| Finishing Touches | 2026–2028 In Color Butterflies and Dots |
The final result is a card that balances soft, feminine florals with a bright, cheerful color palette and sophisticated gold accents. It feels fresh and celebratory, much like a special brunch with a dear friend. I also made sure to add those tiny pops of sparkle with the Shimmer Brush and crisp highlights with the White Gel Pen, as these small details often make the biggest difference in how a card is received.

Join the Journey of Inspiration
This hop is brimming with beautiful projects and inspiration from the Artisan alumni. For those new to the concept, an “InstaHop” is a fun way for us crafters to share our creations on Instagram. You simply “hop” from one person’s Instagram profile to the next, following a list of participants, to see all the amazing projects. It’s like a virtual craft show, right on your phone! I invite you to take a few moments to “hop” through the full list of participants to see the incredible variety of ways these ladies have used their creativity to spread joy. You can find the next stop on our journey by visiting Sarine Zijderveld at @sarinezijderveld.

Remember, your story matters, and even a simple card can be a powerful way to tell it. Now, I encourage you to go make a card—and most importantly, actually mail it!
