Hey sweet friends! Pamela here, and I’m so excited to share the second card from my Bloom Boutique Craft Along Card Class + Kit with you today. This one is all about embracing those soft, gentle hues and adding just a whisper of shimmer to make your heart sing.
Isn’t it amazing how a few thoughtful touches can transform a simple piece of paper into something truly special? For this card, I leaned into the serene beauty of Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow, and Hydrangea Hue. These colors just dance together, creating a light and airy feel that reminds me of a peaceful spring morning. And to add that extra touch of elegance, I’ve paired them with the stunning Bloom Boutique 12×12 Specialty Designer Series Paper, which features the most beautiful gold foiling. It’s like a little secret sparkle, a reminder of the preciousness in every moment we preserve.
To begin, I added a touch of random stamping to our card base using a small floral image in Crisp Cantaloupe. This isn’t about perfection, friends, but about creating subtle texture and interest—a gentle foundation that speaks to the beauty of imperfect moments. It’s a quiet detail that adds so much character without ever overwhelming the design.
From there, I layered the patterned paper, letting those delicate gold details peek through. Then came the delightful die cuts from the Boutique Blossoms and Scalloped Blooms bundles. These pieces are like little blessings, adding dimension and life to our floral arrangement. I finished this sweet creation with a soft Barely Blush ribbon—a tender embrace—and those lovely 2026–2028 In Color dots, which are like tiny jewels, adding just the right amount of sparkle and joy.
