There is something about the first hint of fall that makes me ready for warm colors, cozy layers, and everything pumpkin spice!

During this week’s Create With Me Monday Live, I created a 12″ × 12″ Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice scrapbook page featuring Stampin’ Up!® Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper and my original Print-Then-Cut designs.

I also created a coordinating First Sips of the Season Gift Card Holder and shared another look at the 2-4-6-8 fun-fold cards I created during last week’s live.

Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice Scrapbook Page

The inspiration for this page began with a favorite fall mug and the idea of documenting that first pumpkin-spice drink of the season.

I chose a warm pumpkin-and-foliage pattern from the Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper for the page. A narrower coordinating cardstock panel adds another layer of fall color and texture.

The large photograph is the focal point, surrounded by layers of coordinating cardstock and patterned paper. I then built three embellishment areas around it:

  • A large pumpkin-spice latte cup beside the photograph
  • A journaling label and small fall cluster at the upper-right corner
  • The Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice title cluster beneath the photograph

Small pumpkins, cinnamon sticks, autumn leaves, acorns, wooden leaf accents, loops of twine, and golden embellishments carry the fall theme throughout the page.

The finished design feels warm and dimensional without overwhelming the photograph—which deserves to remain the star of a scrapbook page.

My journaling reads:

My favorite fall mug filled with pumpkin spice!

You could also use this layout to document a trip to a favorite coffee shop, an autumn gathering, a pumpkin-patch visit, or any cozy seasonal tradition.

My Original Print-Then-Cut Designs

The pumpkin-spice latte cup, title, cinnamon sticks, pumpkins, leaves, journaling pieces, and coordinating fall embellishments featured in these projects are my original Print-Then-Cut designs.

I designed the collection so the elements could be mixed and matched across scrapbook pages, cards, tags, gift packaging, and other fall paper-crafting projects.

The large latte cup and title create a strong scrapbook-page focal point, while the smaller leaves, pumpkins, labels, and sentiments make it easy to build coordinating embellishment clusters.

First Sips of the Season Gift Card Holder

After completing the scrapbook page, I used the same Glow of Harvest paper and original Print-Then-Cut collection to create a coordinating First Sips of the Season Gift Card Holder.

The front features a layered pumpkin-spice latte, a sweet treat, and the First Sips of the Season title. The warm plaid, pumpkin, and coffee colors coordinate beautifully with the soft fall patterns in the Glow of Harvest DSP.

This would be such a thoughtful way to present a coffee-shop gift card, especially for:

  • A fall birthday
  • A teacher or coworker
  • A hostess gift
  • A thank-you
  • A little “thinking of you” surprise
  • Someone who considers pumpkin-spice season a recognized holiday

Gift Card Holder Measurements and Assembly

The finished gift card holder measures 5½” × 4¼” when closed.

  1. Cut an Early Espresso cardstock base to 5½” × 9½”.
  2. Score at 4¼” from one end and 1″ from the opposite end.
  3. Fold the 1″ section inward to create the gift card pocket.
  4. Cut a ¾”-wide strip of Cajun Craze cardstock to fit across the 1″ flap, then adhere it to the flap.
  5. Apply liquid glue only along the two short ends of the flap. Press it in place, leaving the long edge open to form the pocket.
  6. Decorate the front with Glow of Harvest DSP and the original First Sips of the Season Print-Then-Cut designs.

A Look Back at My 2-4-6-8 Fun-Fold Cards

During the live, I also shared the 2-4-6-8 fun-fold cards I created the previous week.

These cards also feature Glow of Harvest DSP, layered fall florals, dimensional details, and warm seasonal sentiments. Although I did not create the cards during this live, they show how easily the same paper collection can move from scrapbooking to card making.
